Durability and Behavior of Pretensioned-Prestressed Concrete Beams

Abstract

The study was conducted to obtain information on the factors affecting the durability of pretensioned-prestressed concrete beams; these factors include creep in the steel, creep in the concrete, resulting relaxation of the prestressing force, and corrosion resistance of the prestressing elements.
