Query Response System.

Abstract

The report describes the Query Response System (QRS), a set of information retrieval programs designed to operate on banks of personnel, supply and services data collected by the US Army Field Operating Cost Agency (USAFOCA). The QRS permits updating, extraction, and insertion of partial data during processing of the banks. The QRS is an extension of the Army Operating Cost Information System (AOCIS), which RAC developed for USAFOCA during Work Year 1971. The AOCIS which generates the data banks upon which the QRS operates. (Author)
