Observations of the Neutral Hydrogen Absorption Spectrum of Cygnus X-3,

Abstract

The authors have made interferometric observations of the neutral hydrogen absorption spectrum of Cygnus X-3. The radio source is more than 10.4 kpc from the sun, and the columnar density of netural hydrogen along the line of sight is at least 1.7 x 10 to the 20th power (T sub s)/sq cm. (Author)
