Determination of Human Blood Cholinesterase. Instructions for Collection of Samples, Storage Stability, Shipping of Samples and Interpretation of Results.

Abstract

The study provides information relative to the shipment of blood cholinesterase samples. The storage stability of human erythrocyte and plasma acetylcholinesterases was measured at various temperatures (room, refrigerator, freezer). Instructions are provided for the collection, preparation, and shipment of samples. Guidelines for the interpretation of results are offered for use by industrial hygienists and occupational health physicians. (Author)
