Turbulent Wake Studies.
Abstract
A report on the submarine wake measurement project covers the first six months of the contract. The majority of this effort was directed towards the design, assembly and checkout of equipment needed for the measurements. The report describes the tank facility, the particle scanner, the submarines, and the data reduction software. Preliminary data obtained are presented. (Author)
