Ultrasonification of Biological Materials. 1. Apparatus

Abstract

Ultrasound has potential as a probe of biological structure. However, difficulties in reproducibility with sonification have occurred in our laboratory. Further, long unprotected exposure to high-frequency sound may be hazardous. An apparatus which avoids these difficulties is described.
