Certain Nonlinear Problems of the Nonsteady Motion of Liquids and Gases in Pipelines,

Abstract

Solutions of a system of nonlinear differential equations in partial derivatives are considered for the nonsteady state movement of fluids in the use of the Leybenzon function in cases where the pressure or outflow in the initial section of the semi infinite tube varies according to a power law. Some amount of fluid is introduced; this is a problem in 'instantaneous source' for the boundary conditions. There is a jump in the outflow, or the outflow varies according to a sine law. (Author)
