Bearing Seat with Gas Lubrication,

Abstract

The bearing seat with gas lubrication for high rpm rotors which contain internal and external linings installed with a clearance is distinguished by the fact that in order to increase reliability of operation the linings are made of alternating annular magnets of opposite polarity of ceramic and non-ceramic materials. At the same time on the lining surfaces facing each other are placed ceramic races which form a clearance, which ensures the operation of the bearing seat under conditions of gas dynamic lubrication.
