Principal Relationships of the Theory of Elastic Orthotropic Plates of Variable Rigidity with Account Taken of Transverse Shear,
Abstract
The theory of elastic sandwich shells is generalized to the case of plates of arbitrary contour where thickness and elasticity modulus are functions of the coordinates of the middle surface. The relationships obtained permit establishing the area of applicability of the classical theory.
