The Effect of Material Properties on Materials Handling Processes

Abstract

In order to better understand the fundamental aspects of a belt conveyor materials handling system, a model system was constructed. Evaluation and measure of performance of the various factors of the belt conveyor system were made by using a statistical experimental design approach.
