Sense Amplifier of a Small Capacity Ferrite Core Memory,

Abstract

The report shows how the sense amplifier of a ferrite coincident memory and with the capacity of 1,300 bits, may successfully employ a two step amplifier with amplitudinal discrimination and without a transformer. The separation of the useful signal from noise by means of this amplifier may be compared to the process of separation with the amplifier and the transformer with the same number of semiconductive components but in which case the former is cheaper and simpler to produce.
