Atomic and Molecular Collision Studies.

Abstract

Collisions of atomic and ionic beams with both rare gas and with diatomic molecular targets were studied. Scattering measurements were made in an energy range from several hundred to several thousand eV. The charge states of the scattered particles were determined, and the energy of scattered ions measured at select incident beam energies and scattering angles. The results of these studies are very briefly summarized. (Author)
