A Numerical Solution for an Unsteady Two-Dimensional Jet-Flapped Wing.

Abstract

A numerical solution of the two-dimensional jet-flapped airfoil utilizing discrete vortices to represent airfoil and jet vortex distributions is presented for two time-dependent cases. The first concerns an instantaneous deflection of the jet exit angle and the second case involves continuous oscillation of the jet angle. (Author)
