The All-Union Conference on the Physics of Low Temperature Plasma (3rd).

Abstract

The book consists of many papers presented at The Third All-Union Conference on the Physics of Low-Temperature Plasma during 1971. The first article deals with the review of results of investigations of physical properties of a new method for producing plasma, the photoresonant method. There are seven main headings under which the articles appear. They are: Methods of production and diagnostics; Thermodynamics; Transport and optical properties; Kinetics and nonequilibrium processes; Nonlinear phenomena, instabilities, turbulence; Magnetohydrodynamics; Phenomena on the plasma-solid boundary.
