Collision Integrals for the Knudsen Number Dependence of the Growth Rate of Droplets in a Supersaturated Vapor

Abstract

The technical report is concerned with the rate of change of the liquid droplets once formed in the vapor. In particular the rate of change of mass of liquid droplets surrounded by the pure vapor is considered. The theory to be presented is valid for droplets formed either by homogeneous or heterogeneous nucleation.
