Manpower Research and Management in Large Organizations

Abstract

One of the first objectives of the research was to become informed about the scale, scope and quality of the manpower research effort in which the Defense Department is engaged. A second, closely related aim was to reach at least a preliminary assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the research effort and the directions along which progress might be made.
