A Three-Component Hinged Aerodynamic Balance,

Abstract

The three-component hinged aerodynamic balance containing sensors, support rollers, strain elements, hinges with a piston kinematically connected with the tested model, and a drive is, distinguished by the fact that, in order to simplify the construction and increase the accuracy of determining the coordinates of a pressure center on the tested model, there is placed in their piston a movable rod, to whose console portion is attached a strain element which interacts with the roller support, while the tailpiece is fitted with a split nut, kinematically connected with the drive.
