Abstract

Spring 1972).Technical note,4White,D. The test period was from May 1-19, 1972. The transmitter radiated simple sinusoidal signals on a continuous (24 hour) basis, changing frequency on a daily or every other day basis. For the first time we have investigated the time period during which the sunrise or sunset terminator intercepts the propagation path. Receiver sites were located in Norway, Greece and Saipan.
