The dc Conductivity of Amorphous Germanium and the Structure of the Pseudogap,

Abstract

The authors attempt to relate the dc conductivity of amorphous germanium to the structure of the pseudogap. The report presents arguments and evidence against the often stated opinion that the (1/T)to the -4th power dependence of the dc conductivity cannot be accounted for by Mott's variable range hopping model.
