Gas Turbine Installations for Hydrofoils,

Abstract

The design and operating features of gas turbine installations for hydrofoils are reviewed. The different ways in which aviation gas turbine engines designed for operation with marine propellers can be converted are explained. The materials from the design and operation of the propulsion plants for the first Soviet gas turbine driven hydrofoil, Burevestnik, and for other ships, were used in the writing of the book.
