Problems of Laser Beam Data Transmission, Proceedings of the First All-Union Conference, Kiev, September 1968,

Abstract

The document contains papers presented at the first conference on the problems of laser beam data transmission. The volume of research is devoted to the construction of laser information systems. However, up to this time there have been no efficiently active laser information systems. The primary cause holding back the development of efficient laser information systems is the low level of research in the field of precision physical-chemical technology of substances with small light losses and parameters which are efficiently controllable by means of electric, magnetic and acoustic fields.
