Investigation of Solidification of High Strength Steel
Abstract
Solidification of High Strength Steel. Technical rept. 1 Jan-31 Dec 1971, Gnanamuthu,D. S. ;Basaran,M. ;Kattamis,T. Z. ;Mehrabian,R. ;Flemings,M. Measurements were made using a microradiographic technique. The second part of the report contains results from a study of the effect of homogenization on the morphology of inclusions in unidirectionally solidified iron ingots containing a single type of sulfides.
