Hydrodynamic Design of Thrust Bearings,

Abstract

Thrust slide bearings are designed for operating under conditions of hydrodynamic friction. The bearings have pads in the form of ring sectors and plane surface. The oil film thickness varies up to 30% and more over the radius.
