Cooling Turbine,

Abstract

The cooling turbine containing a turbine and a compressor wheel installed on the ends of a common shaft mounted in antifriction bearings over an oil casing is distinguished by the fact that in order to intensify the bearing cooling the shaft is executed with a helical groove on the surface which is encompassed by a bearing placed on the compressor side and by a blind-end axial bore on the turbine side which connects its outlet pipe with helical groove and with the oil casing pocket by means of radial channels in the shaft.
