Antifriction Lubricant,

Abstract

This invention relates to antifriction self- lubricating materials used to manufacture friction-unit parts which operate in alkaline media during friction without lubrication. An existing antifriction lubricant is based on carbon, polyalumophenylsiloxane resin, epoxy resin and a dry lubricating material. Polyorganosilazane and potassium hydroxide are introduced in the above mixture to improve the resistance of the lubricant to the action of alkalis. The optimum composition of the various ingredients in the mixture is given. (P.S.-PL)
