The Development and Mechanization of a Problem Solving Facility.
Abstract
The objective of the work described in the report was to set up a computer with a large memory for on-line real-time use to provide a tool to aid human problem solving. The point of focus of the work was the combining of the computational abilities of the computer and its ability to store, retrieve and manipulate large masses of data. (Author)
