A Study of Inorganic Salts Requirements and Effect on the Morphology of Marine Bacteria.
Abstract
The studies were initiated with simultaneous efforts in the field to determine the distribution of marine bacteria in coastal and deep ocean areas, in ultrastructural studies of salt-requiring, psychrophilic marine bacteria subjected to temperature and salt deprivation stresses, and in the molecular biology and numerical taxonomy of marine and estuarine bacteria.
