Review of MIL-E-1 Test Methods for Cathode Ray Charge Storage Tubes.

Abstract

The report contains recommendations for sixteen new test methods and three revised test methods intended for inclusion of MIL-STD-1311 Test Methods for Electron Tubes. Together with six test methods now included in the Standard, these recommendations are believed to define adequately the performance of both electrical and visual output charge storage tubes when appropriately applied to individual MIL-E-1 specification sheets. A description of the methods employed in the development of the recommendations is included along with a technical discussion and an evaluation of the results where-ever these latter two were considered necessary.
