Application of a Third Order Function in Imaging and Related Problems.

Abstract

The usefulness of third order network systems for image steepening of edge deteriorated images when employing time sequential information signals is analyzed. Explicit design parameters for an effective typical network usable in slow scan systems are given. Frequency domain magnitude and phase characteristics are tabulated and also graphically presented. Output responses for the explicit typical design parameters to step and exponential inputs are shown. (Author)
