Water Pollution Abatement - Dover AFB, Delaware.

Abstract

The report contains results of a water pollution survey conducted at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Laboratory biodegradability studies were conducted on a sample of Dover aircraft washrack wastes to determine treatability of this waste in a biological system. The recommendation is made that upon completion of a proposed domestic sewage treatment plant for Dover AFB the aircraft washrack wastes (after free oil separation) be discharged to the new plant along with other industrial wastes.
