Thermodynamic and Thermophysical Properties of Combustion Products. Methods of Calculation,

Abstract

The handbook contains information about the combustion products of high-energy propellants. Two- and three-component propellant compositions are examined. Among the active oxidizers, oxygen and fluorine, mixtures of them, and also compounds rich in oxygen and fluorine are examined. Among the high-energy fuels a preferential place is occupied by compounds rich in hydrogen, and also metalliferous fuels. Information is also given about the combustion products of some fuels with air and the decomposition products of some compounds used as monopropellants. Primarily the report discusses the thermodynamics used in understanding the combustion and combustion products.
