Ground Support Equipment Airborne Launcher Vibration Isolation Design.

Abstract

A theoretical analysis of simple mathematical models of mechanical systems is carried out with a view toward the design of a vibration isolation system for helicopter mounted rocket launchers. Possible future problems and their possible solutions are discussed. An alternative to the vibration isolation system as a means of reducing launching errors due to helicopter induced motion is given. (Author)
