Primary Irritation Evaluation Program.

Abstract

ENT-35526-Ga, ENT-35634-Ga, ENT-35636-Ga and ENT-35645-Ga, candidate repellents, were evaluated on New Zealand white rabbits for their potential to cause skin irritation. The data obtained serve as a basis for making a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of these compounds. These four compounds were found to be irritating to the skin of rabbits and should be resubmitted in the form and at the concentrations of their intended use so that their irritation potential can be reexamined.
