Abstract
Esters of trichloroacetic acid and of alcohols or glycols of the general formula Cl3CCOOR and R=C1-C20 or Cl3COOCH2(CHCOOCCl3)(n) CH2OOCCl3 and n = 0-4 were developed as an antiseizing additive for lubricating oils.
