The Effect of Defects in the Geometric Shape of Antifriction Bearings on the Balancing Precision of Rigid Rotors,

Abstract

The article deals with the influence of errors of the geometrical shape of rolling bearings upon the balancing precision for a special case, namely in application to balancing machines with two movable supports, and of the frame type, with account taken of gaps in the bearings. The influence of the errors was determined on the basis of trigonometric series which express their relationship to a series of parameters of the entire system. From the derived equation is determined the permissible value of the total ovality of the inner races of the rolling bearings of the balanced rotor, which practically does not affect the balancing precision.
