Development and Mixing of a Coaxial Jet in Axisymmetric Swirling Flow,
Abstract
The results of an experimental study on the developing and mixing of jet with vortex flow in cylindrical chamber are presented. The study was carried out for several diameter ratios of jet and chamber and a range of mass flows of stream and jet. Various influences of the mass flow of stream on the mixing of jet depending on the value of geometrical parameter d sub zero/D sub k are determined. (Author)
