Obtaining a Plane Compression Wave during Electrical Discharge in Water,

Abstract

In the paper the pressure field at a distance of one diameter of the pipe from the boundary of the cavity was investigated. Having assumed that for water an analogous phenomenon takes place, it is possible to present the processes in the pipe in the following manner: part of the front of the initial wave, having diffracted, produced a plane wave near the source. Another part at the investigated distance spread, experiencing multiple reflections. (Author)
