Ultrasonic Devices in Modern Radio Electronics (Ultrazvukovye Ustroistva Obrabotki Signalov),

Abstract

A classification of ultrasonic devices with respect to operating principle is presented. The functions played by these devices in radio circuits are investigated, and the lower and upper bounds of the frequency range within the limits of which they can be used are indicated (approximately). Each class is separated into groups with respect to structural attributes, type of ultrasonic waves used and other features. All devices, the function of which consists in delaying a signal with low distortion of its shape, are classified as ultrasonic delay lines. (Author)
