The Effect of a Magnetic Field on the Development Process of Crystallization Centers of Hydrated Glucose,

Abstract

The work deals with the effect of a magnetic field on the kinetics of phase transformation processes and discusses difficulties encountered therein. Crystallization of hydrated glucose is used to study these processes, due to the fact that hydrated glucose has the ability to form crystals of various systems and crystals with diversified dimensions and external form in the same system. Discussed are factors which affect the crystallization rate and parameters which can predict the kinetics of crystallization and affect the dimensions and form of the crystals. (Author)
