Investigation of the Emulsifying Capacity of Oils and Wearability of Additives during Contact with Water,

Abstract

In this work the effect of demulsifiers on the water contaminability of the oil and their wearability and the effect of film-strength and antiwear additives to oils on emulsifying capacity were studied; furthermore, the change in properties of the lubricating compositions after their contact with water was investigated.
