Methodology for Finding the Optimal Conditions for Lubrication and Cooling during Grinding by Abrasive Discs of Synthetic Superhard Materials,

Abstract

The following are proposed as basic technical criteria for selecting effective lubricating cooling liquids and rational modes for polishing: (a) rate of processing (g/min, cu mm/min); (b) specific yield of circles of synthetic ultrahard materials (mg.g, mg/cu cm); (c) the quality of the treated surface (roughness presence of a defect layer).
