Training Device Design: Human Factors Requirements in the Technical Approach.

Abstract

A previous report in this series 'Human Factors Inputs to the Training Device Design Process', NAVTRADEVCEN 69-C-0298-1, discusses the human factors role in the specification of requirements for training devices and presents substantive information for use in this process. This present report takes up where the previous left off. The interactions between Engineering and Human Factors specialists in trainee station and instructor station design and evaluation are described and exemplified. (Author)
