Preliminary Report, (RV Thomas G. Thompson Cruise 66).

Abstract

Cruise 666 of the Thomas G. Thompson was the sixth in a series of cruises to the oxygen deficient waters of the eastern topical North Pacific Ocean. A total of 47 chemical oceanography stations were occupied and routine chemical analysis were carried out on board ship. A Biochemical program was completed which investigated the following: ETS (Respiratory Electron Transport System), chlorophyll-carotenoid, incubation studies, and developmental work on the dissimilatory nitrate reductase assay.
