Reducing the Scanning Nonuniformity in TV Transmitter Tubes,

Abstract

The article is concerned with one of the possible simple methods of correcting the nonuniformity of the beam velocity in tubes operating in a single-line mode. A distinguishing feature of this mode of operation is that scanning is done along a single line. The number of control parameters in the scanning generator is in this case greatly reduced, since there is no necessity to correct the nonuniformity of the beam velocity over the entire frame.
