A New Approach to the Finite-Element Formulation and Solution of a Class of Problems in Coupled Thermoelastoviscoplasticity of Crystalline Solids.

Abstract

A new and general theory of thermoelastoviscoplasticity which does not involve a yield function is used in conjunction with the finite element method to develop discrete models of a wide class of problems in nonlinear continuum problems and coupled thermoviscoplasticity are given. (Author)
