Applications of the Finite-Element Method and Computer Graphics. (A Vibrational Analysis of a Sonar Projector Transducer Element).

Abstract

The report analyzes the vibratory characteristics of a sonar transducer element using a finite-element three-dimensional mathematical model. The physical meaning of the three constant-voltage-drive eigenvectors predicted by this model is clarified, and the predicted eigenvectors are compared with those measured experimentally. (Author)
