The Behavior of the Solutions of Certain Two-Dimensional Non-Linear Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations in the Interior and Exterior of a Stable Manifold,

Abstract

The behavior of the solutions of certain two-dimensional nonlinear systems with an irregular singularity at infinity is studied in the interior and exterior of a one-dimensional stable manifold. The solutions belonging to this manifold are represented in the form of a single parameter exponential series. It is shown how the solutions which do not tend to zero at infinity depart from the stable manifold. (Author)
