On Sequential Decision Procedures with Prespecified Error Bounds.

Abstract

The report investigates several procedures for which an upper bound on the error(s) can be prespecified. In the case of two classes, an adaptive procedure is given in order to converge to the optimal test. Error estimation schemes are proposed to accelerate the convergence. Finally, a feature selection procedure is given for a dynamic version of Armitage's procedure. (Author)
