Design of an Automatic Repositioning Mortar System

Abstract

The report describes the design, operation and test results of a fluidic system for automatic control of elevation and azimuth of a mortar. The sensing, logic and actuation are accomplished utilizing air. Interface problems are minimized by operating the entire system on a single medium.
