Autoclavable Thermoplastic, PPO*, Polyphenylene Oxide, for Surgical Instruments.

Abstract

This report covers the various phases of the work to develop PPO polymer compositions suitable for injection molding of autoclavable surgical retractors. The moldability, physical properties, and fungus resistance of these plastics are reported. (AF-PL)
